Safety & Training
The
management and employees of Augusta Industrial Services, Inc. realize
that for economic, humanitarian and legal reasons, safety must be our
primary concern. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a safe
and healthy work place for employees to earn a living and for our customers
to access our services. With these goals in mind, we have developed
a pro-active safety and health program. Augusta Industrial Services
has a full time safety coordinator that is an Authorized OSHA Outreach
Trainer. All employees of Augusta Industrial Services complete a
thorough safety training program with annual updates to insure retention
of training and to cover any changes in government regulations.
Training of employees includes but is not limited to:

- Confined Space Entry
- Respiratory Protection
- Hazardous Energy Control (lock out / tag out)
- First Aid / CPR
- Fall Protection
- Hazard Communication
- HAZWOPER
- Vehicle / Driving Safety
- Heavy Equipment Safety
- Operation and Safety of all company equipment
- Hearing Conservation
- Drugs Don't Work (Drug Free Workplace)
- 8 Hour Industrial Safety (Augusta Technical Institute)
